VICTORIAN ANTIQUE BLACK MOURNING JEWELRY BEADS NECKLACE

This item for sale is a strand of Victorian antique mourning jewelry beads necklace in excellent used condiiton. They are 17 inches long and strung on a woven wire chain. All componensts from the chain, beads, end caps and clasp are all original and date back to the mid 1800's. The beads are black with a matte satiny finish. They are 7mm each and look perfectly round till you examine up close then yo ucan see they are just ever so slightly different like they were hand carved vs machine made. I don't know if they are glass, jet, or a mined-from-the-earth stone. he beads weigh 35 grams so are a bit heavy. Whatever they are, they are guaranteed to be 100% original, Victorian and antique. If you colect mourning jewelry, this will make a great addition to your collection. A very lovely piece.
