Victorian Black Jet Faceted Beaded Belt Dress Trim Rope Necklace
This antique Victorian era black jet faceted beaded belt dress trim rope necklace dates from 1900. It is made of strands of tiny black jet beading strung together with connecting round faceted beaded black glass roundels with a fabric backing. This beautiful beaded belt dress trim could also be worn over the head as a long necklace with no closure. The trim measures 42 inches long and the roundels are 1 inch wide. It is in good as-is condition with a few loose missing beads and a break on one connecting strand (see close-ups). Great for upcycling! This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana mourning wearable art!
